New feature on ChatGPT: PDF and image files can now be analyzed.

ChatGPT continues to improve constantly thanks to OpenAI, expanding its features and surpassing the limits of its original text-only functionality. Paying subscribers can now upload documents, which will be analyzed by the AI to provide relevant answers to their questions. Additionally, multimodal support enhances the overall experience, propelling ChatGPT toward new horizons. ChatGPT is gradually transforming into a highly efficient connected assistant. Following its integration with DALL-E for generating images from prompts and the addition of voice synthesis, this OpenAI chatbot is now capable of analyzing both PDF documents and images. A significant step forward for the future of conversational AI.

ChatGPT takes the initiative to autonomously select the response model.

Until recently, extracting or searching for information within PDF files required third-party extensions like AskYourPDF. Now, this functionality is natively integrated: simply drag and drop the PDF file into the bot, ask questions related to the document (processing might take a few moments), and enjoy full support for the most commonly used image formats by ChatGPT. Another major innovation is the elimination of the need to manually select a response model, such as Bing for web-based results. The bot can now automatically determine the best approach to address a query, whether by using Bing, DALL-E, or running Python code. The choice depends entirely on the nature of the user's question. These enhancements, some of which were previously reserved for ChatGPT Enterprise subscribers, are now being rolled out to ChatGPT Plus users at a cost of $20 per month.
