Legal Notice: Publish legal notices in the French overseas departments and territories
Legal Announcement is the consolidation of three websites designed to help residents of Martinique, Guadeloupe, and Guyana publish their legal announcements. After trusting us the first time to update their services and handle the maintenance of their websites, our client has once again turned to us. Impressed by the quality of our work, the Legal Announcement team now wishes to entrust us with the development of their new legal announcement websites.
This time, the objective is to create, from scratch, three submission websites, each with a dedicated administration area. The idea is for Guyana, Martinique, and Guadeloupe to each have their own legal notice submission site. In parallel, each site must be manageable internally through an administrator account. During the development phase, we held numerous discussions with the Annonce Légale team. Indeed, we developed a detailed project plan that had to incorporate all the services of the previous sites, as well as new features. Over the years, there have been numerous customer reviews regarding Annonce Légale’s services. Our client was able to share relevant feedback with us. Thanks to this, we were able to add the most pertinent features and improve the user experience.
The development was carried out in several stages. To start, our graphic designer created mockups for the three websites. A lot of thought went into the UI design. The objective? To simplify the user journey, with a streamlined purchase process and a live preview of the announcement. Features were also integrated to support this goal, including the ability to schedule an announcement publication, approve a quote, and make payments online. We also implemented a link generator with pre-filled information, allowing clients to complete payments more quickly.
Finally, to enhance the customer experience, we implemented PDF generation, allowing users to receive personalized quotes, invoices, credit notes, and certificates. This approach improves the overall service quality our client offers and streamlines internal operations. Simultaneously, our developers advanced the backend for each site—the part unseen by the user. We used the same code base for all three websites, facilitating future updates. This approach simplifies modifications so they automatically apply to all three sites at once. Functionally, we also added client and admin roles to enable two distinct account types: one for publishing legal notices and the other for site management.
Since the services were outlined during the drafting of the requirements document, our content writer could begin creating SEO content for each page. Each category of notice adjusts depending on the site being used (Martinique, Guadeloupe, Guyana). Speaking of adaptation, we integrated the online payment provider used by the previous site—a unique solution that our developers skillfully adapted to the new sites.
Each element came together to produce an impressive result. The three legal notice submission sites, along with each site’s administrative section for comprehensive management, are now online. To best support our client, we set up KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for data tracking and to assess the effectiveness of the three websites. Before handing over the sites, we ensured GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) compliance, specifically training administrators on the importance of user data confidentiality. Development is now complete, and feedback has been very positive! We continue to stay in touch with the Annonce Légale team to make adjustments as necessary. Meanwhile, the entire IDNET team is proud to have contributed to facilitating the publication of legal notices in the overseas territories. We hope this makes it easier for innovative projects to come to life!
