Optimeo: company specializing in workplace ergonomics
Founded in 2018 by a former occupational psychologist, Optimeo aims to improve comfort for screen-based work. It’s not easy to make their ergonomic solution known outside of innovation fairs. Nonetheless, Optimeo took the plunge by reaching out to IDNET. Starting with corrections to the company’s site, we gradually ended up developing an entirely new website tailored to enhancing workplace ergonomics.
Our client had a specific design in mind before reaching out to IDNET. He worked with a designer to bring his vision to life as a mockup. Our client then contacted us to develop his website, perfectly replicating the design from the mockups. This website was developed with WordPress. However, that didn’t stop us from achieving a perfect reproduction of the mockup. Our client wanted purchases to be possible directly on the site, so we implemented the WooCommerce plugin. The Optimeo site is therefore a full e-commerce website built entirely with WordPress. During development, we also faced the requirement of transferring customer data from the client’s previous website to the new one—a task we completed with great success.
To improve the user experience, we connected the site with Zoho. This integration enables a chatbot to respond to user inquiries and synchronizes the CRM with our client’s product inventory. We also established a connection with Mailjet and the client’s website to create newsletters and send email campaigns. Optimeo offers ergonomic products and services, and many customers are eager to share feedback about their experience with these products. We took this into account. To simplify the publication of testimonials and the creation of new pages, we integrated the ACF plugin. This allows for a page template that can be customized through a form, enabling our client to create new pages by personalizing various fields without altering the design we provided. Publishing client testimonials is now easy and accessible.
