Trajectoire: Online school platform for Ivory Coast
Trajectoire is an online platform with multiple features that aims to facilitate access to private tutoring and the purchase of school supplies.
Trajectoire is a project born out of an observation: in Côte d'Ivoire, students struggled to find private lessons, and similarly, teachers faced challenges in promoting their courses. This is why our client decided to take action in their country by developing a solution that simplifies access to knowledge.
Lacking the technical expertise to develop this solution, our client turned to our agency to bring this project to life. We held several meetings to fully understand the scope of the project. Once the project specifications were clearly defined, our team was able to begin the development of Trajectoire.
The solution was developed using the Angular framework, a solution created by Google that allows us to facilitate the development of a responsive and fluid website, as well as an application for the Apple Store and the Play Store. Angular makes it easier to implement future updates by providing a global update for the website and Android and Apple mobile applications. In Côte d'Ivoire, many payments are made using the CinetPay solution. Therefore, we implemented this payment option to ensure compliance with the country’s payment practices. We also set up In-App Payment to make the application compatible with the Apple Store. We adapted to the client’s needs while considering their budget constraints for this project. Based on this, we selected an existing template to reduce the design costs for Trajectoire. To enhance the overall user experience, we implemented both dark mode and light mode.
Throughout the development, our team made sure to maintain regular communication with the client to inform them of the progress, offer advice, and suggest areas for technical improvements. New features were added along the way to ensure the project perfectly matched the client’s vision. As for the new features, we can mention the admin-side management of teachers, schedules, and the financial management of Trajectoire. Regarding the financial aspect, we implemented a clear and user-friendly solution, as our client collects payments from students and then redistributes them to each teacher. A geolocation system, similar to 'Le Bon Coin,' was also set up to help users find teachers in their area.
Our team developed Trajectoire using the Angular framework, which provided significant time savings. Thanks to this technology, we were able to develop the Trajectoire website in parallel with the mobile application. The Trajectoire website features three dedicated sections for teachers, learners, and sellers.
Our developers also launched an administrator interface for Trajectoire, allowing complete management of both the website and the application. The graphical interface is intuitive and user-friendly, enabling our client to approve online courses and manage the products for sale on Trajectoire.
Trajectoire is now live and accessible to everyone. Our client trusted us to bring their vision to life. The idea began in their mind, and we took over by applying our expertise to make that vision a reality. Our numerous meetings helped create a promising project. The entire IDNET team is proud to have been part of this initiative. Thanks to our client, we were able to contribute to a great cause—the advancement of access to education in Côte d'Ivoire.
